Tell Us Your Wait... What's Next?
Hot Girl Summer may be out, but Rich Life Summer is officially in.
And no, we're not talking about money.
In this week's episode, Laura and Amanda dive into a transition that doesn't get talked about enough: growing out of your 20s while still feeling very much young.
Somewhere along the way, the trends, habits, fashion choices, and weekend plans that once felt exciting start feeling a little less... appealing. Not because we're getting old, but because we're evolving.
This episode is for all of our fellow in-betweeners who have ever looked around and wondered if they're the only ones who no longer want to wear the trendiest outfit, stay out until 2 a.m., or chase every new thing social media tells them they should care about.
Together, we discuss:
• The fashion trends we've officially retired - crop tops (cough)
• Why being cold for an outfit is no longer an option
• The activities and habits we've outgrown
• Why slowing down feels surprisingly good
• The pressure of keeping up with trends and timelines
• What a "rich life" actually means to us
• Why deeper connections are replacing surface-level experiences
This isn't a serious episode. It's a fun, honest conversation about growing up, evolving, and realizing that maybe the best parts of life aren't the loudest ones.
So grab your coffee, get comfortable, and join us for a conversation about style, friendships, joy, and the subtle transition of becoming more yourself.
New episodes every Thursday.

Hi Fanny! Our third co-host has making an appearance per usual.
SPEAKER_01One of the questions that I have that I want to discuss today is liking attention. Is it empowering or narcissistic? So we're asking baby that question. Literally a human. We were talking about the things that resonated when we were 25 not longer resonate, which is we were posting all the time on Instagram. We had the cropped ups where we can cover on those transitions. Defining what is resonating for.
SPEAKER_02When you still feel young, but you realize that you're no longer like a generation setting the trends in a way. But I also like am not keeping up with trends. I'm a very like feel best.
SPEAKER_01I like the being young, still feeling young. In the very first moment when you see things coming back, I literally, the first moment when I took Caprice, I got the egg immediately. I was like, ew, this is so gross. Like more than Capri's. So let's get started. How are you, Amanda? How was your week?
SPEAKER_02How was my week? It's weird when I'm home for more than like two days in a row. So this week has felt really long, but it's been good.
SPEAKER_01I have a question for you. When you, after chaos, are you able to sit back and relax, or there is a part of you that is still kind of rolling? Because I feel like sometimes when I experience chaos and just doing a lot and being busy, then I'm excited to not be busy anymore. But then I have sort of my mind, then it's just quiet and then it's just trying to find a way to not be okay because I've been on that role for a long time.
SPEAKER_02I am very good at compartmentalizing. So I think that my off switch is pretty good. That being said, I'm also pretty sure that I'm constantly functioning in a higher state of stress than I realize. And then it gets reflected in things like my sleep. So I took a I've taken a CBD gummy for the last four nights, which I've never done before. I yeah, trip of the earth, the double's lettuce. It's just not for me. And no shame to anybody who does partake in those activities. I like to have panic attacks and think I'm dying. But I did try CBD and that's helped me sleep. So given the fact that my sleep has been better this week, I'm probably holding more stress than I realize. But I do kind of just turn it off because I only have so many days to recover. And I also spend a lot of downtime when I'm home. Like I didn't do anything this week.
SPEAKER_01But you need to because you are running around. If you don't give yourself that break, you're gonna burn out. I wonder if there is some science behind that, and maybe we can ask our French GPT, which is why our brain can seem to slow down when we finally are able to, and you're just gonna continue running on adrenaline. Yeah, which is not fun. How's your week? My week was good. That's what I was experiencing. Everything just seems so nice, so chill. We had a couple of events that I need to go for work. I am actually so excited because we got so many good comments about our last episode. Really interacting with people and having those conversations. I loved it. And what I love about the episode the most is that we didn't decide on one side or the other, it just opened the conversation, and so many people had so many different things to say, and none of them are wrong. Simply, it just works. I think I want to go over some of the comments and we can talk about it a little bit more. But I really love that people are engaging. I think this has been one of my favorite episodes so far. To our point, a lot of people are scared of having these conversations and then act on what truly means good for them. And they're just running on expectations and what everyone else is doing. And again, what people put on highlights and reels and everything else is probably not true. And you should do what your heart desires and what's best for you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think it's clear that our conversation last week and some of the attention we've gotten on social media that when it comes to owning a property, buying a house, spraying a condo, whatever it is, that it's not one size fits all. And our comments were across the board. We had people have different reasons for getting a property. We had people say something similar to me. We had people say no for other reasons. So it was cool to see that because I think that's shedding some light on that and bringing some transparency about how that is not exactly everyone's goal, and nor does it have to be everyone's goal, and you don't have to feel bad if it's not. And then on the flip side, if it was your goal and there's reasons why, you're not wrong either. Like there's no wrong answer here. It's all about what works for you, what works for your lifestyle, what works for the stage that you're in, what works for your family, all of that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it's so interesting because it's such a vulnerable conversation. I feel people are very, very scared sometimes of opening up and saying what they actually feel and how they think. But I love that some of our comments, just to kind of go through them really quick. I love that someone said that they have zero desire of ever buying because they don't want to spend on anything and they truly just want to travel around the world and make sure that they have great experiences. And then we had somebody else who said, I actually bought a house a few years ago and then uh sold it a couple of years later, made a hundred thousand dollars, and then bought again, and it's something that kind of just became a way that this person is building wealth, which it's a take that we didn't even think about, but completely different and something that it is possible for somebody as well. We also heard of somebody who loved being a homeowner, even though they're still her and her partner still want to work with going to travel around, but that safety net and being able to build a place where they can eventually see and have a family. And I love that part when she says have her four wheelers, which I'm loving that life for her. I love that too, and that makes sense, right? That is your goal, and that's your safety net that makes you happy. And paying that mortgage doesn't feel it's an expense because it's truly creating a rich life for you. And then the last one that I really liked was oh, somebody who grew up in an environment that didn't feel so safe and she was vulnerable and opening up to share that she bought a house because this is a way in which she started building up that type of environment for herself. And I thought that was very empowering. Again, it comes down to your upbringing, to your relationship with money and the external things, but at the end of the day, it's well needs and what it's required for you to be happy. So we love that people are commenting and talking and giving us their comments. We continue the conversation, went back and forth, but it honestly kind of also opened my mind to see what other people are doing and how people think about real estate. So it was really fun to read those.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I know that you and I, when we've talked offline about real estate, you know, before this, there's always been that conversation of well, it's been a great investment, and you know, it's it's a way to build portfolios and blah, blah, blah. And same thing with my friends who talk about how they want to buy something, and there's a part of me that kind of does feel bad because I'm not making that a goal or a priority. But the comments that you just ran off were some of my favorite too. And I love the person who was transparent about it being a safe place because homes should be a safe place, and then the comments where people are like, I have no interest, I don't want to pay for appliances. Yes, I feel that like that's exactly why I don't have any interest in it. And I do have friends who bought a house and then pretty quickly realized that they did not want to spend money on maintaining the front yard, building the backyard, the appliances breaking, et cetera, et cetera. So then they downgraded and they got a town home, and that was better. And then they downgraded again and they got a condo and they love it. They're pro condo all the way, they don't have to worry about as much. And for them, that was the balance of we own something, we can invest, we can sell, we can get that 100k. Somebody commented, but then on the flip side, they can also still travel and put their money elsewhere. And after our conversation last week, I was talking like Chat GPT about home ownership and just how I think that when I look online, what I want is so way out of my budget, and I would be so house poor. Could I make it work? Sure, but I wouldn't be able to do anything.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I think you mentioned something about balance, and that's so important because sometimes it's not an absolute no, maybe it's rearranging expectations. It doesn't matter. Your goals are high and you want to live in a beautiful house, that's amazing. But sometimes, as your friends experience, they thought that's what they wanted. But once the reality comes in, do we really needed this? And now they still have property, but they're actually enjoying and it is allowing them to do everything else. So sometimes it's really good to go through the process as well. In a different way, I'm experiencing that, completely turning off the page. Right now, me planning my move to Hawaii, and this is the first time that I'm living with a boy. I am extremely scared. And I feel I have to come to that realization because at the end of the day, I am the one who has to make the move there and changing everything. But then after having conversations with some friends and kind of just going over, you have to experience it. You have to go through it, and then you'll know better. Because sometimes it's really hard for you to logically, your brain keeps running and going on circles with the information that we already have. But the truth is we haven't experienced it. So you don't really know what it's gonna be like on the other side. And I know buying a house and buying a home bigger than just making moves, but I think our brain does go through the same process of trying to predict what is going to happen. And the truth is you won't even know. You can get the house of your dream and get it and be the happiest person and be like, this is what I wanted, just as you can get it, and then the next day be like, This is not so much what I wanted. What is it? Right. So it's living life and going through those transitions, not knowing what the outcome is gonna be, but we're just trying to do the best.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's different strokes for different folks. And I know we were texting before we got into our conversation today for this episode about this whole rich life concept. And I don't know if if that's exactly a trending term right now happening on social media, but when I'm thinking about this conversation with real estate, because that's top of mind right now, that also plays into what makes a rich life. And it is different for everyone. It's safety to trust that these walls are yours and you have ownership over it, can do whatever you want. It's building a family, it's maybe choosing travel over that instead, or choosing a lifestyle where you can up and lead because we have different preferences. And yeah, I mean, I think to some point for sure, you have to get out of your routine because we are creatures of habit. We like our safety nuts. And I just saw an Instagram post the other day about how moving to a new city is such a, and we've talked about this before, it's just such a pivotal moment for your brain because everything that you know is now gone. But on top of that, I know we were discussing some other back and forth topics about where we are in life and this feeling of I'm young, but also I'm at this age, and am I supposed to be in this stage, and am I supposed to be doing this? And am I supposed to be wearing crop tops or not? Or skinny jeans, which I I will admit I still have one pair of skinny jeans left. I have not worn them in a long time, but they are in my closet.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Let's push the crop top situation for the end of this episode because I really want to go through this. But a question came in mind when you were talking. And since we're talking about rich life, would you like to share what does a rich life look like for you?
SPEAKER_02Mine would just be being happy and feeling free. And I think that not to go off on a separate tangent over here, but I think that we have created this culture of optimization, especially recently. It's, I mean, I have my aura ring, so biometrics. It's how much sleep can you get? Do you get enough steps a day? Are you hitting your goals, your macros, your micros, your protein? Are you eating your weight in protein? Are you eating cottage cheese? Are you doing everything perfect? And then I find that I'm stressed out because I'm not.
SPEAKER_00And I really need to be like your 10K steps. Yeah, exactly. Stressing me out.
SPEAKER_02And then I'm taking walks at 8 p.m. And then I'm not sleeping well because my heart rate is too elevated too late.
SPEAKER_00And it's just my life at midnight because I'm still trying to guess that 10k point.
SPEAKER_02I am 200 more. My aura ring is like a brisk walk will get you to your goals. And I'm like, okay, well, I think to go.
SPEAKER_00And let me alone.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But I also saw something where it's like we do all this optimization, right? And then we're like, we need to take a vacation because we're so stressed out. Yeah. And then I was thinking about that version of me when I'm on vacation. And in October, I went to a more tropical area of Mexico and had the best time for four days. And to me, that version of me is the rich life, the one where I'm not worried and I'm not stressed out and I'm happy and I'm with people I love. And there's always going to be stresses in life. I mean, I'm not always going to be on vacation, but at least the balance is knowing that I spend more of my day enjoying it than being stressed out. What's your rich life?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Thank you. I love that you said that. And coming back about that video, after you and me had that conversation about okay, we're optimizing so much to spend five days a week on a nine to five, I'm optimizing to be fit at my office and look good for my computer and everything. And actually, the other day, I was also scrolling on Instagram and I see these girls, which before I used to love. These girls that when they ask me if I'm free or whatever, and then their day is packed up green juice at 6 a.m. and then work out for two hours. And then at 10 a.m. they have their cottage cheese with blueberries and then open computer, work for four hours and from home, and then they have the chicken with their three nettes. And I'm watching this, it it's a beautiful video, aesthetically pleasing. Right. Like before I love that for them. Yeah. Before I'm like, oh my god, can I make this video? Like, these are so cool. And then I'm thinking, why? This isn't fun. People ask you, you're free to maybe go and get coffee and you prefer to do this every day. There's no way this is sustainable for anybody. I mean, yes, we want those good habits, we want the protein, we want the fiber, we want to wake up and work out and have movement. But if you're not doing the things that you love, if you're not keeping the body that you need to be healthy, because I think that's the whole point of that, to then experience things that actually you enjoy, then what's the whole point? So immediately I was like, yeah, this video is not so cool anymore. And this is what I love about the influencing all of these videos and all of these things on social media, because that can really get in your psyche and like make you think that that's the right way to live. And again, going back to expectations, taking you to a path that is not longer serving you, and it's probably not what this person is doing 24-7 seven days a week. It's not realistic. But to your point about my rich life, honestly, a rich life for me, it's so simple. I just want to be able to enjoy slow mornings, grab my coffee. I am not gonna lie, smelling my coffee every morning and taking a sip, I cannot explain how happy that makes me. And being able to do it in an environment where I'm not constantly thinking what do I need to do next, constantly planning, maybe doing things because people are expecting things from me all the time. I went to Hawaii and I woke up really early because Hawaii obviously is three hours behind. So I was already awake at 6 a.m. And my boyfriend had to go to work, so I stay alone that whole day by myself. And there was so much peace in knowing that I had absolutely nothing to do and that I could decide to do with my day whatever I wanted. So I chose to go for a walk, getting coffee, and then just sometimes sitting and staring at the ocean. I think that's my rich life. Being able to just slow down, and being able to just sit down and just hang out with my thoughts, hang out with myself, and just enjoy those little things in life that sometimes are really big and we take for granted. So that answers your question, but it really doesn't have to be complex and complicated. It's just that simple.
SPEAKER_02It's so ironic though, how it's the exact opposite of what you're talking about, you're seeing on social media and having everything in perfect order and waking up and doing this and that, and even opposite of corporate life. And I'm just gonna pull back the veil. Part of the reason why I don't really do get ready with me videos every single day is because you would see me sitting in my pajamas from about 5:30 in the morning when I get up and start work at 5:30, and I will sit there in my pajama pants and whatever shirt I need to deal with my Zoom calls until about 1, 1:30. And then I change into athletic wear, and then I go to the gym, and then I come back and I wear a different version of lounge clothes because most days I'm not really leaving my apartment. And if I am, and it's for dinner or it's for something, I'm probably in either like something. I mean, it's casual. I'm in San Diego, everything's casual, everything's off leisure.
SPEAKER_01So I do think though, I have to push myself, yeah, a little bit of a flip on that because I do feel sometimes I'm so chill. I never get ready. So that's why I never have a get ready video with me because I never really get ready in that way. Also, those those people that do it, I don't know how they're able to do makeup and talk about a topic.
SPEAKER_02Like the whole time it takes so long. I've done it before and record, talk, talk, talk, pause, finish makeup step. Record on next step, talk a little bit and pause, finish step. It is the longest process.
SPEAKER_01Those videos are actually one of my favorites because if they're talking about a topic that I care about, but I'm like this. I'm like this in this woman putting eyeliner what she's talking about three different topics and literally poking her eye out of respect. I don't know how you do that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02The multitasking.
SPEAKER_01So what I was saying, I do feel I have to push myself, and that's part of being rich again because we work five days a week, and sometimes it's so much easier to be like, Can I just hang out at home? I can just literally pull Netflix, I can just sit with myself, whatever. But there is a lot of joy in seeing my friends, there is a lot of joy in doing like a little quick hangout or uh do something different during the weekends, like push myself to maybe go to the ocean and go to the beach or all those little things. I have to push myself to do those things because once I do them, I feel so much better. And I feel so how much happier. And if I'm gonna chill and do absolutely nothing on Sunday, that Sunday feels so much better because I did have community. I went out, I did something different. I feel it's so good for our brains and really for our body, mental health, and all of that to be able to experience those things and have that in-person activity to then go back and just chill and relax. So I do have to push myself to do that because I know that's something that makes me feel great. And Amanda, we kind of talk about who this episode was for and what we wanted to talk about today, and really the people that are transitioning into that adulthood, but that still feel young, and the things that we did when we were 25 just no longer resonate. For instance, I used to vote all the time. I used to be making plans, I had no time in between. I will see multiple people all weekend, and then Sunday will come in, and I will be absolutely Exhausted for that Monday. That's no longer a thing. The FOMO versus Romo, the fear of missing out versus relief of missing out, it's hitting so hard. And that's okay. We're transitioning. And also, to your point in going back to fashion, the things that we see that are coming out that no longer resonate with us, we're still young and we still want to, you know, dress up and look cute, but it doesn't mean that we have to fall into every little trend. And I don't know if you want to bring up some things that you have seen that are coming up, and we can talk about a little bit on if whether or not we want to take those in, like the capris and the crop tops.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, capris are hard now for me. There are a few clothing decisions that I remember from back in the day, and I will not partake in those. Capris being one of them, the gaucho pants, another. And I loved my gauchos when I was younger, but I go for the long lowy wide leg pant now. It has to hit my like below my ankle, not mid-calf. I'm just not into that. I do not have any interest in skater shoes coming back. Luckily, I have not seen that. Absolutely not. No, like my DC.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. The baggy pants with the skater voice. I mean, with Dean Love That era, our Rela V era, uh Blink 182. We love that. But yeah, I actually said that to somebody the other day, and they were like, Well, what's wrong with that? Fresh enough.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, not it. So definitely. I still think I do wear a version of that though, because I've definitely gone to concerts. I love my baggy jeans, and I've gone to some concerts with baggy jeans, a like mesh long sleeve underneath a t-shirt. That's my wait, I like that though.
SPEAKER_01That's taking the that's 2000s, though worse right now. It's that combination. I feel like you're bringing it to the new, the new style.
SPEAKER_02You know a trend I've been seeing, and I I can't get with it. Is I mean, I live where there is an Urban Outfitters, an Addicted, a Princess Polly, a Mango, a Zara, and H and Well, you have like all of the good ones. I have all of them under Ritzia. And I go into Addicted and Princess Polly and all these little cute shops. And first of all, addicted just makes me feel like I'm way too old to be in there. You walk in, and it is like somebody held a neon sign over my head saying, not meant to be here. Insane. But there's this like trend right now that I see even when I'm out at the bars or different areas of San Diego where the girls are in the most micro of micro skirts with their little tank tops. And you know, maybe if I was like young 20s again, I'd be wearing that and I'd be rocking it because if you have a want it kind of thing. But right now, I'm like, I can't do that. Like I just have no interest in it. So I'm having the worst time trying to find clothes, even corporate clothes. I cannot find it.
SPEAKER_01Excuse me. Nothing feels like growing up more than seeing the younger girls dressed up and being like, my daughter will never dress up. Um she probably will. That's what it was. I I don't know if I told you, but I went to Santa Barbara with my boyfriend, and um I used to walk around with like crop tops again, back to the crop ups, and you know, the shorts, and I don't even know. And probably I remember high school too. I would wear minimal clothes and it was freezing outside, and I don't know how I did that because now with any minimal disturbance, I literally canceling my day. I'm not going out, I'm staying out. But yeah, I just remember seeing them and thinking, oh my god, why are they wearing this? Why are they not in a judgmental way, kind of in shock that people are wearing that, but to their defense, we were probably doing that when we were young, and that is growing up. I think you don't realize the transition of time and when you kind of grow out of that mode and that doesn't feel okay anymore. But also, I'm glad I don't think we should be watching around wearing those outfits. They look cute in those, but we're good. Um, and I've never liked it, but it's okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, never for the record.
SPEAKER_01Okay, we're gonna get into crop toss really quick. I three years ago, still love my crop toes. You know, I was a happy girl, never realized that I have that many crop tops until I started dating my boyfriend, and he's gonna love this. And he looked at my gloves and was like, Why does your clothes look like infant clothes? This looks like a three-year-old shirt, and then I started looking over. I never realized this. I would say 95% of my clothes have scrub tops. I'm not joking, I was obsessed with them, but it's one of those things that I collected over time and I didn't even realize. It also, it's to your point, Amanda. It fits my body, I have it fits me on the top, I always wear high-waisted jeans. It kind of just fit. And then my boyfriend, I would say, did get on a campaign on getting me off the crop top chapter. My brother, my older brother, I remember ever since I was younger, he hated them. And he always wanted to get me on that Ralph Lorraine, trend, more old school, old money look. And he actually was wearing Ralph Lauren before Rad Lorrain became really good again. Before Rav Lauren rebranded, my brother was wearing Rav Loren. We were going into those stores. I hated going into those because they look so old. You know what? They just disorganized, they just don't feel people are even going in there or rearranging clothes. It just looks clothes from another era. My brother was always on it. Every time he will visit, we'll go to Rav Lauren. And now Ravloran did a huge comeback. I just read that they hit their $8 billion revenue for the first time ever. And the bear, the coffee shops, it's just so trendy now. And so now um I would like to say that I used to go to the stores before it was cool. So yeah, my brother was in that journey to get me out of the crop tops, but it took my boyfriend to come into my life to actually make me realize. And now I wear them for workout and stuff, but I am starting to see their point, and I'm starting to cross to the other side and thinking, oh my god, how was I wearing that? Because now I'm all about the styling. I the oversized thing kind of looks really nice. The baggy pants and the like those polo shirts. I feel there is a beauty on that fashion that is more elevated.
SPEAKER_02For me, crab pops just don't work for my body. Like, I love that low rise jeans are coming back because I have been fighting with high-rise pants since we were in college. And I like a mid-rise and I like a low rise. High rise is just not for me. I get uncomfortable, I feel like I'm being squeezed in all the wrong places. And then paired that with a crop top, I was just out of my mind. And I also do still have some crop tops because however many years ago, like it was still all you can find. I mean, even right now, most of the time I go into stores, and if I see one, I'm like, I can't get this. Like, I just don't, I don't want to wear it. It's so cute. Like crop tops are so cute, they just sit on my stomach weird. Like, I wish that I could rock them more. But I do have a rule of thumb with clothes, and I will get rid of clothes if I have not worn them for like a season. So, but by a season, I mean like a whole year. So if I didn't wear them last summer and now it's summer again, and I'm still not interested in wearing it, then I usually get rid of some items. But I do understand why my mom was always keeping old clothes because she was always saying, Oh, it's gonna come back, it's gonna come back. And like to her point, the flare jeans did come back, so I don't blame her. And I'm pretty sure I have some true religion flare jeans somewhere in her house, and I do need to find them. Oh, but yeah, I actually ended up in my clothes right now. Yeah, the vintage, the true religion vintage. I think they're like probably about 15 years old. Yeah, there's some older denim.
SPEAKER_01See, this is why I love us having these conversations because we are very different in so many things, and I love it because again, nothing is right or wrong, but I love my high-waisted jeans. Yeah, then low waist hurt me, and I can't, it's it's hard for me. So, yes, it comes down to what fits you better, and I feel the opposite. If you feel the high-waisted jean presses you, for me, it keeps me, I feel content. I feel nothing is coming out. I don't think I can go back to the the low, especially I don't think we're ever gonna go back there. But remember when the zipper was like this big?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't think we'll go back there, even though I did see a video of Trey Lo wearing some pants like that. I don't know if you've seen the show off campus. It's the new comment show.
SPEAKER_01You're the fifth person that has told me about off campus, and I'm like, where have I been? So I will watch the show. I need to watch it in the Queen Black.
SPEAKER_02It's a very like girl-focused show. Like, it's not for the boys, it's definitely for the girls. But they the main actor has a scene where J Lo's not this is not a spoiler, but J Lo, she's like dressed up like her for a costume party. And the two, the actor and J Lo posted a social media video, and J Lo's pants were so low. And I was like, this is too low for me. I I'm not ready for that. If my butt feels like it's gonna show from the top instead of the bottom, like my butt cheeks in shorts, I was having a hard time with. I didn't want the cheek to show. Don't make me feel like my butt is not gonna pop out the top of my jeans. That's insane.
SPEAKER_01Jane Law should be then last person that should be wearing low rice. Let's just say that now. Let me don't cancel me, don't come over me from days. But Brianistically, girl, get your high-waisted jeans off.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. She looks phenomenal. You need, I'll send you this. Her body banging. Like, yeah, I would wanted to.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, send it to me. Well, that's awesome. I definitely need to watch that show. Literally, somebody was telling me about it yesterday, and I'm excited to binge on it because I'm brand new is pretty sure.
SPEAKER_02It's very short. I think I finished. I'm I mean, yes, I did binge it. I think it was like two days of watching. I didn't do anything yesterday, I just finished.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm gonna tomorrow. So today I'm actually seeing some people. It's some of our friends' birthday. I'm heading into the city. I feel like going into the city is a whole trip for me, so I really need to just get it together. I'm gonna get all of my socializing back. And then tomorrow, all day in the house. I'm so excited. I'm looking forward tomorrow. So off campus will be on tomorrow. But yeah, other than that, I think that's what we wanted to share on this episode today. Again, we define what a rich life uh feels like and looks like from our different perspectives, and just following up coming off from our episode of investment in real estate, which I think a rich life has nothing to do with money and everything to do with what truly makes you happy. We actually do want to tease people because we talked about it last episode that we want to bring a real estate agent and so we can ask all of the questions. So, again, our call to action is send us all of your questions because we are going to ask this person who is in the industry who can give us their direction. And so that way you don't have to ask those questions yourself. We can do that for you. So please send us your questions, share these episodes with people that are going through it, that may feel in the middle of the transition and don't really know where to go. We're not experts, we're just going through it, we're experiencing things as we go. But when we do bring these guest speakers, they are experts in the industry and they can give us very directions. That's all I wanted to say. And Amanda, this is your turn to take us home and wrap up the episode. So I'll bring it back to you.
SPEAKER_02Thanks, Laura. You can find us on Instagram and TikTok at Wait What's Next. And then also be sure to like, leave us comments, leave us a review on Apple. We're officially being able to post video on Apple. So you'll be able to see us as well as listen. So it's on Apple Podcasts and Spotify at Wait What's Next.
SPEAKER_01Anything I'm missing, Laura? No, but I would say if you want to be part of the conversation, definitely follow us on TikTok. I think this is where people are really getting into topics and kind of just want to keep talking. We are very active. I'm responding to all of the comments, and it's just really nice to hear people's perspective and people from everywhere. So if you want community, that is a great place for us to communicate. You can always send us DMs via IG. Also, if you have YouTube, there's a community section where we can talk about it more. It doesn't matter where, but give us those questions, leave us those comments, and let's continue the conversation. Alright, see you guys next week. See you next week. Bye.
